Sketchbooking is becoming something of a passion of mine! I just love the portability of minimal kit and being able to draw from life absolutely anywhere – and to do it so spontaneously.
I had a brilliant sketch walk last Tuesday! I caught the open top Breezer bus from Canford Cliffs to Swanage and walked back to the chain ferry – up over Ballard Down, Old Harry Rocks, Studland beaches and Shell Bay – making 17 sketches along the way! I’d just purchased a new SeaWhite of Brighton pocket-sized concertina sketchbook with 38 sides, I certainly didn’t expect to fill the whole book!
