I am delighted to have been approached by this wonderful and long-established arts society, to lead a workshop on one of my favourite disciplines; Rendering in pen & ink.

This is scheduled to take place at the society’s HQ on Tuesday 23rd April. I shall introduce a few of be the basic techniques for simulating shape, form and texture with just a pen and black ink lines and then providing tuition as the group embarks upon drawing and rendering a selection of relatively simple household objects. Following a tea break and exchange of views, we will launch into a more ambitious choice of pieces. We’ll wind up with a table throw-down of our group work and a brief time of Q&As.
I’m really looking forward to this opportunity and hope that all involved will gain something to help enhance their artist skillset.
