Rendering in Pen & Ink
Learn the skills of rendering the various forms, tonal values and textures to create stunning illustrations using only a dip pen with India ink. £tba
Linocut Printing
Learn how plan an image, carve Lino blocks and print a short limited edition of single or multi-colour prints on to top quality fineart print paper. £tba
General outline info: All-abilities welcome. Tutoring matched to each personal level within the group. A positive and friendly attitude is encouraged. Own transport needed to join given location(s). Always sketching outdoors from life, unless very wet, when an indoor public venue will be switched to. Bring own equipment, but occasionally some materials supplied or available to try for experiment with. Basic typical equipment; cartridge or watercolour paper/pad, pencil, eraser, fineliner pen(s) or fountain/ dip pen & ink, watercolours or coloured pencils/pastels, or charcoal. Lightweight carryable seat. NB: Choice advice on all will be given upon booking.
20% deposit required upon booking, balance due 5 days prior to course.
Capable children may join workshop and participate at a reduced fee when accompanied and cared for by a responsible adult.
