I just love making art outdoors in the cool and subdued weather of winter. Today I am in Wimborne, experimenting with my looser approach.
I’m looking to add to my ‘Peeping Minster’ series and also to develop my more impressionistic style. This small painting is a dress-rehearsal for the final, 40x40cm canvas.
Today was freezing cold! A big and grateful thank you to the households of Hilary Fowley and John Bell for both kindly supplying mugs of hot tea!
